 How do you get here ?
There are several ways to travel to these regeions on this page we will show and suggest different ways of transportation depending on where in the world you are located as you start your jurney.
If you are outside scandinavia, the best way is to fly into either Sweden or Finland, from there you can rent a car to take you to the different locations. Åland is a little different since it's a island in the baltic sea, to reach Åland you need to take a ferry or a cruise liner from Sweden or Finland, there are several tour operators sailing to Åland, you can even reach Åland from Estonia. The ferries vary in size from small fast ferries to large luxurious cruse ships. There is a airline flying to Åland as well for those of you who want to come here fast.
Car or boat rentals.
At both airports you can ofcourse rent a car from most of the common rental agencys like Hertz and Avis.It is recomended todo this if you plan on vissiting the the different areas, it gives you more flexabillity to see different sites and attend events.
Renting/chartering boats. Both in Sweden and Finland there are boat rentals avaliable, spaning from small motocrafts to sailboats. There are also a few companies that charters larger crusiers and sailships.

 Stockholm archipelago.
Vaxholmsbolaget is the main tour operator in the Stockholm archipelago, they have frequent trours to most of the main island. A tripp with these small ferries takes you thru the wonderful maritme regeions to your final destination. Bicycles and personell.
These ferries usually transports pepole and even bikes, they are very popular amongst hikers and bikers. you can reach many of the islands by car aswell using "line ferries" which are vehicle transport ferries.
 Åland Archipelago .
The Ålandic government runs the ferry lines between the islands, these midsized ferries brings the archipelago really close to you, most of them serves food and beverages and also transports your vehicle to the island of your choice.
