Aland lies between Sweden and Finland and, resting just off the channel into the main harbour at Mariehamn, the sailing ship Plus is virtually intact, its hull upright in 34m and the mast and rigging fallen to port. New diving experiences.

 If you are going to climb a high mountain or do a deep dive you have to be prepared to have a nice experience. Diving in the Baltic Sea can´t be compared with something else. You have to be an experienced drysuit diver and be used to cold water diving. To not have this experience and still try to dive the Baltic Sea is only to fool yourself. There is no space for unexperienced divers when the diveboats are lying close to a line going down to a beautiful wreck in heavy seas. Experience with a lot of equipment, quick dressing, good buoyancy and calm attitude are the conditions for good and safe diving in the Baltic Sea.

 We don´t want to discourage divers from diving in the Baltic Sea but we want to give you the possibility to judge your own ability and give you the time to train properly before your divetrip to the Baltic Sea.
